With dodgeball, the goal is to hit all the players of the opposing team with the ball. A playing field is divided into two halves and teams try to hit the other players. Once you are hit directly (without a bounce), you need to go to the outside of the opponent’s side. From here, you’re also allowed to try to hit the other players and when you do you may return to your own field.
