====== Benefactor (Donateur) ======

As members of De Stretchers use facilities from the Student Umbrella Twente (SUT), members are required to subscribe to the Student UnionCard during their membership. Subsequently, when an individual ends their Student UnionCard subscription (by for instance finalising their study or taking a study abroad), this same individual would normally lose their Stretchers membership too. However, dedicated members can become benefactors (donateurs) to be part of De Stretchers still.

==== Why become a benefactor ====

Members become benefactors when they still want to be present at member activities hosted by the Stretchers. As previously mentioned, a benefactor does not subscribe to the Student UnionCard. Therefore, being a benefactor does not mean still going to Stretchers training without having to subscribe to the Student UnionCard. Instead, this is meant for people who still want to be part of the Stretcher community, by being present at the Stretchers activities, or occasionally saying Hi during a training session.
